How to book theory test in Poland

Taking driving licence tests in Poland is a bit more complicated than it is in other European countries. If you want to take your theory test here, you have to book it beforehand at the office of your local driving examination centre. The offices are usually open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It does not take long to book theory test. First you are asked to pay for the test. You might pay for the practical driving examination simultaneously, but it is not necessary. Theory tests are usually available within the following two weeks, but sometimes you will have to wait for a month or even longer! I strongly advise you to book theory test first and then, after you have passed it, book your practical exam. If you pay for both exams at the same time and later fail the first one, you will not get back the money paid for your second test. It is generally not difficult to pass your theory test, provided you have revised the material. However, passing practical driving test is much more complicated. Unfortunately, most people fail it the first time round. Some have to take it several times, which means that it can take a couple of months or even years before they finally get their driving licence.
